About Fibromyalgia
The degree to which Fibromyaliga patients suffer physical pain varies substantially. However, the intensity of emotional pain is remarkably uniform, and the physical pain compromised, when those suffering are confronted by skepticism and ignorance. If we hope to enlighten the cynics and thereby ease our burden, we must be vigilant in our own advocacy. Information and knowledge are the keys. Please visit my "About" page for facts about Fibromyalgia, and the cynics who ignore them.
Get it in Writing
I have visited numerous personal webpages generated by Fibromyalgia sufferers. These sites seem to be therapeutic for the creator, comforting to other FMS patients, and informative to the general public. Please visit the "Fibro Journal" for journal updates of my personal thoughts and experiences in living with this illness.

Express Yourself
Years ago, I discovered that expressing myself through art (and I am by no measure an artist) offered a great venue wherein I could adaquately express the pain of my cluster headaches. People had always thought of a "headache" as the kind of pain that leaves you grouchy or reaching for a couple of asprin. How could I make anyone understand the absolute and excrutiating pain that would completely annihilate me? A simple drawing did what words could not, and I found the experience satisfying. Writing is another form of creative expression which I enjoy and find cathartic. Check out the"Expressions in Art" and Expressions in Writing" pages for these therapeutic expressions, and look for information on how to share your own.
UPDATE A new "artistic" (remember, I make no claims of artistic prowess)rendering of Fibro.
